On March 24, 2005 the people’s revolution took place not the coup d’etat. Chairman of the revolutionary council Esen Sagynbaev told reporters at a press conference at the “Kabar” News Agency. He said that he was elected chairman of the revolutionary council at a meeting with participation of 22 thousand people. According to the council’s resolution on March 25 key demands of revolutionary war council formed: not recognize new parliament legitimate, elect new government headed by Kurmanbek Bakiyev etc. “I visited many regions of the republic and that’s why expressing opinions of people from different regions of the country. On March 24 the people’s revolution took place. However, there won’t be sharp improvement of life. The time is needed to correct mistakes of Akaev’s regime”, said E.Sagynbaev. /Kabar/
