[12.06.2OO2] Premier urges to increase industrial output

Prime Minister Nikolai Tanaev held a meeting in Bishkek on 12 June urging leaders of the industrial enterprises to increase their output. According to him, the annual output should be increased in 2002 by five to seven percent. He also said the country population is politicized too much and a reason for it is the high unemployment rate. Tanaev announced on 10 June that the country industrial output fell by 10.7 percent in the first five months of 2002.
