Tajikistan agreed to supply raw materials for Kadamjai antimony factory, reported the ministry for foreign trade and industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. The first consignment of feedstock, expected to increase production of antimony, will arrive in the near future. In the past years, China would purchase all antimony concentrate, mined in Tajikistan which, naturally, had a negative impact on antimony production in Kadamjai. At present, the plant is employed at 30% of its capacity. Kyrgyzstan is negotiating with Russia and Kazakhstan to supply raw materials for the plant as well. They might be among potential partners in the future.
