The volume of deals done on Kyrgyz stock exchanges increased 24.8% year-on-year in the first half - from 397.966 million som to 496.68 million som, the country's state securities market commission told Interfax.
The number of completed deals increased 14.4% to 2,679 during the reporting period.
Deals with securities both this year and last were done through two trade organizers on the securities market: Kyrgyz Stock Market and Exchange Trading System.
In January-June of 2004, the two floors saw 78 deals with 22,453 preferred shares clinched for 0.129 million som, 2,578 deals with 33.156 million common shares for 483.8 million som, and 23 deals with 25.812 million bonds for 11.059 million som.
