[27.03.2OO2] Bishkek administration complies with public requests

Spokesman for the Bishkek City administration Kairat Birimkulov announced on 27 March that a running water system would be constructed to the newly established Kelechek mini-district in Bishkek suburb where about 370 youth families live.
The city allots for it one million soms (about $21,000). The residents held a protest picket in Bishkek on 13 March demanding to construct facilities. Also, according to Birimkulov, the administration agreed to cancel a decision by the City Tax Inspection, which increased the price for individual business patents from 500 till 1,000 soms recently. Employees of the Dordoi and Kudaibergen car markets held pickets in Bishkek on 25 March protesting the move.
