[20.06.2OO2] Public organizations warn on deteriorating situation in the country

Leaders of several political parties, human rights organizations and media outlets released a statement in Bishkek on 20 June warning the president and the government on deterioration of the political situation in the country. According to the statement, people do not trust the president and the government because they announce new campaigns for human rights one after one but violate in fact the human rights more and more severely.
Leaders of the parties Asaba, Ar-Namys, Ata-Meken, Erkindik, Kairan- El, and Communist and Republican parties, the Kyrgyz Committee for Human Rights, the Institute for Human Rights, the Human Rights Movement of Kyrgyzstan, the "Res Publica" weekly as well as head of the coordinating body for opposition, Deputy Adaham Madumarov and several other parliamentarians signed the statement.
