Prime Minister Nikolai Tanaev told Speaker of the lower parliamentary chamber Abdygany Erkebaev on 20 June, that due to public protest actions in the south, number of foreign tourists coming to Kyrgyzstan is decreasing. According to Tanaev, about 1,000 Russian tourists cancelled their visits to the northern Issyk-Kul Province recently.
Tanaev also asked to take measures against deputies Bektur Asanov, Azimbek Beknazarov and Duishen Chotonov, who are taking part in the pickets in the south instead of working at parliament.
