[25.12.22] Government Describes Macroeconomic Stability In the Country

In the 2002 Kyrgyzstan has maintained a macroeconomic stability, says Kyrgyz Government. According to the Government press service, inflation has been at the 2.2 percent level (last year it was about 3.7 percent). However, the situation in industry is poor. Its output is expected to decrease by 15 percent.
An accident at the 'Kum-Tor' gold mine had a negative influence to the local industry. The overall GDP decreased this year by 15 percent.
